Thrift store haul

My awesome Salvation Army haul. One lamp to upcycle into a lit pumpkin (thanks Funky Junk group), squat pottery lamp needs shade makeover (not sure if I will paint or just pretty up the shade...or probably a whole new shade), one heavy, heavy crock type bowl for autumn display, one brass container (no idea what it was but has... holes in cover will use for potpourri), one heavy aluminum bowl with ocean blue enamel interior (for birdbath once I find a base...and aluminum will help keep water cool), AND one super nice heavy cotton linen extra wide tab top panel 84" long I will be transferring a cool graphic image too with words. Items were 99 cents to $2.99 can't beat that.See More

Pics to come when I'm finished. I passed over some things I wish I had taken now. Might be a good idea to go get them before they disappear. I never seem to learn not to over think and to go with my first instinct. I lose out on so many things doing that  lol

Welcome to my world of enchanting ideas and inspirations.

Welcome to my world of enchanting designs. I design crystal and gemstone jewelry, but I also am exploring upcycling junque and a myriad of other endeavors. Here I will present new jewelry designs and collections of my jewelry as well as sources of inspiration. I am a self taught designer of crystal and gemstone jewelry
inspired by all things mystical and infused with storybook imaginings. I am also inspired by all things glittery and sparkly. I will be sharing new projects I am working on. Most recently curbside freebies that I will be upcycling and adding a touch of sparkle to. You will see my mind wanders freely from one project to another and I hope to connect with others like me who find it hard to accept just one type of craft and feel the need to explore.
So come along with me on my journey of creative explorations!

Just Begin

The purpose of this blog is to share my creative thoughts, ideas, visions and challenges with you (and also because I wanted to use this sweet blog banner I got from PlumroseLane on Etsy). I have found that although I sometimes feel I have nothing new to contribute, that everyone else already has these ideas...that sharing is always a benefit to someone. I have come across many ideas that led me to be even more creative coming up with my own. Sometimes I have been overwhelmed with the flow of ideas and pushed my creativity aside. How many of you have been there? I have learned you just have to begin.
With that in mind here are pics of one of my projects. This is a curbside freebie haul just waiting for the magic to begin. I will post pics of their journey. I have been inspired by so many talented and crafty people and I hope to inspire others as I go along on this journey of creativity.
